Stop down at Art on the Town WI: The Studio for a one-of-a-kind Raku Firing Event and experience the ancient Japanese art of Raku firsthand!

Choose from an array of hand-made pottery, including whimsical ghosts, spooky bats, festive pumpkins, and more – all crafted by local artists and ready for your personal touch.

You’ll glaze your chosen piece on-site, then watch as it’s heated in a kiln, pulled out red-hot, smoked in a can of combustibles, and plunged into cold water — creating stunning, unpredictable metallic finishes and crackled effects.

The best part? You’ll take your unique art home with you the same day!

Price: $20–$55 depending on the piece

All pottery will be clearly labeled and sold first come, first served — so come early for the best selection!
