Pottery 1.5

Advance your skills to the next level with our Pottery 1.5 class! This course will bring you beyond centering and pulling walls: get creative with form and technique with this intermediate class! 

Price is $250 for 6 weeks of class: 5 instructed classes on the wheel, and 1 class for glazing. 2.5 hours of instruction per class. 

Each week, you’ll receive hands-on instruction,  and dedicated wheel time as you learn the techniques to shape, trim, and refine your pottery. All finished pieces are fired in our studio kilns, and you’ll have access to 2 complimentary hours of extra wheel time during open studio hours to keep practicing at your own pace.

 Glazing is done in the final week of class for $7 per item, plus a $5 studio fee.

Whether you’re looking to pick up a new hobby or just love working with your hands, this class will guide you from your first lump of clay to your first finished masterpiece!

Each member is limited to one free bag of clay per class (25lbs), additional clay will be $30 per bag. 

Other time slots available by appointment. Space is limited to 4 people per session.
