Mushroom Mug Ceramics Class

Celebrate spring with clay and creativity in this whimsical hand-building ceramics class! In this workshop, you’ll design and build your very own mug from scratch, then bring it to life by attaching sculpted mushrooms to the outside.

From classic to quirky, magical to realistic—any mushroom you can imagine is fair game. Think tiny toadstools, chunky forest fungi, fairy-tale caps, or an entire little mushroom scene wrapping around your mug. Come in with inspiration and ideas, or let our friendly staff guide you step-by-step to help you create the perfect spring mushroom mug.

No prior ceramics experience needed—just bring your curiosity and a love for all things earthy and enchanted. By the end of class, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind mug that’s equal parts functional and fantastical.

For $35, this class includes: 

Clay and materials to create a hand-built ceramic mug.
Step-by-step instruction
Complimentary bisque firing of your pieces

Return at a later date to glaze your tumbler for just $7 and up! — choosing from over 200 brush on glazes, and a final glaze firing to bring your creations to life! (Price is $7 per item med-large, or $25 for a group of small items). 

All ages welcome – no experience necessary!
